We define information as data which can permit the cooling system to predict the individual trajectories better than purely random prediction and then act on that data to modify the trajectories of an ensemble of particles. In this study we track the flow of this type of information through the closed system and consider the limits based on sampling and correction as well as the role of the underlying model.
