| I will cover a brief overview of the optical components that will be installed at SwissFEL and why they have been chosen from an experimental perspective. I will then explain some of the various experimental techniques that have been used at XFELs, with experimental examples from both LCLS and SACLA. I will conclude with a discussion on where we think the field of XFEL experiments will be in 3 years, and how SwissFEL plans to fit into this landscape. | ||
