The HI-13 tandem accelerator is an important experimental device in the field of nuclear physics in China. In recent years, the beam transmission efficiency of HI-13 tandem accelerators has become increasingly low. In order to effectively solve this problem and improve the beam transmission efficiency, several factors that affect the transmission efficiency have been proposed, such as the influence of inclined field accelerators, ion sources, and grid grids. This article mainly uses software simulation to calculate the transmission situation of the main low energy section of the HI-13 tandem accelerator and provide the transmission envelope and efficiency. The results indicate that the oblique field accelerating tube has a significant impact on beam transmission, especially after entering the head electrode, most particles lose at the channel of 1.1 meters long and 9 millimeters in diameter.
