A DC high voltage electron gun is adopted to generate 300keV electrons, in which the Cs₂Te will be used. The highest repetition rate of the electron pulse is 1MHz and the maximum average current is 0.1mA. At present, the Cs₂Te cathode has been prepared successfully and the quantum efficiency meets the physical design requirements. The preliminary high voltage conditioning of the DC gun has been completed. This report will introduce the development of DC gun in detail. ER -
