In such an electric field, it becomes possible to deflect a beam of nonrelativistic electrons with an energy of 30 keV. In this work, we demonstrate the possibility of using a pyroelectric deflector based on a two-crystal scheme for deflecting a relativistic 7 MeV electron beam. The dependences of the strength of the electric field generated in the pyroelectric deflector in vacuum on the temperature of pyroelectric crystals and the residual gas pressure are presented. The results of the experiments allow us to talk about the prospects for development a controlled pyroelectric deflector applicable in accelerator technology. The work was financially supported by a Program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for higher education establishments, project No.FZWG-2020-0032 (2019-1569).}}, }
