abstract = {{This paper is devoted the design and optimization of 240 tons forward spectrometer dipole magnet to be installed into HESR-PANDA facility. The dipole will have 2 T×m field integral within 400 kW power. The main issue discussed in the article is magnet stability and deformation/stress analysis. The issue of additional loads in the support structure under the influence of a possible earthquake is also considered, and a method for reducing (preventing) loads is proposed. 3D calculations of the magnetic field inside and outside the dipole are given including eddy currents simulations. Magnetic forces. acting on various parts of the yoke and the coils, are shown. The status of project is presented.}},
