	The U-70 NRC "KI" - IHEP ring magnet made-up of combined functions, this magnet used to steer and focus a beam simultaneously. The existing commercial power supply with pulse-width modulation (PWM) voltage was not suitable because of electromagnetic incompatibility. The problem of suppressing 100% output voltage ripples by about minus 60 dB, was solved. It is planned to use the upgraded source to deaccelerate the beam of light ions in the U-70 synchrotron. The goal is to increase the energy range of the ejection beams to physical, medical, etc. researches.
