This article presents a conceptual design of a precision switch-mode power supply with the output current range from 0 to 5100A and an output voltage up to 12V. A key aspect of the power supply is the fact that it will be consisted of five independent paralleled power supplies with common control and feedback systems and overall loop of interlocks.
