  Work is continuing on a linear accelerator electrons accelerating stand JINR. Physical start of the second accelerator station was performed. Work is underway to harness the electron beam through the third and fourth station accelerator. First Results of Startup of The Second Accelerating Section of The LUE-200 Linac

  It announces the startup of the second accelerating section of the LUE-200 electron linac of the pulsed resonance neutrons source (IREN)of the Laboratory of Neutron Physics. The block diagram, klystron and modulator parameters are presented. As a result of optimization of the accelerating system and focusing system the electron beam implemented to target. The basic parameters of the beam are measured: beam current, energy, and the energy spectrum of the beam.
