Pyroelectric materials can be used for generation self-focused electron and positive ions beams with energy up to a 100 keV and in construction of miniature pyroelectric accelerators, which might be used for X-Ray, electron beam, neutrons generation. A new type detector of a charged particle beam based on pyroelectric crystals is proposed and demonstrated experimentally in *. In a proof-of-principle experiment, we demonstrated deflection of a low-energy electron beam. Also, the applicability of polarized ferroelectric ceramics as a pyroelectric material in a pyroelectric accelerator is shown by experiments**.
