AB - A short pulse laser ion source is under development. In this ion source, ions are produced by femto-second laser in RF electric field and produced ion bunch with a few nanosecond pulse length. This feature can eliminate bunching section of RFQ and beam can be accelerated from the first cell of RFQ. In this presentation, results of design study for the RFQ without bunching section will be presented.
