The physics requirements of the insert demand a high level of precision in magnet geometry, magnet axis alignment, and corresponding alignment of the vacuum chamber geometry within the magnet modules to maximize chamber aperture size. Here we report on the design and manufacturing of the vacuum chamber, magnet manufacturing, and kinematic systems.
