Abstract | PyTao is a Python interface to the Bmad based Tao program for accelerator design and simulation. This enables advanced design and optimization beyond the normal capabilities of Tao as well as simplifying the use of Tao as an online model for an operating accelerator. Here we will describe this interface and some of its applications, including online models for the the LCLS and LCLS-II at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. |
