The main subsystems including an electron gun, buncher, accelerating sections, vacuum system, and focusing and steering magnets are located in the LINAC area of 223.5 m2 and 3 m in height. We designed a nitrogen injection fire extinguishing system for the LINAC area and performed Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) simulation to analyse the fire extinguishing performance with and without fresh air supplied from the air conditioning system.
