Working principle of PCA is the new plasma cascadeμbunching instability occurring in electron beams propagating along a straight trajectory. PCA is cost-effective as it does not require separating electron and hadron beams. SPACE, a parallel, relativistic 3D electromagnetic Particle-in-Cell (PIC) code, has been used for simulation studies of PCA.
