Such a linac will be powered by a narrowband multicycle THz-pulse with a central frequency of 300 GHz. In this paper we focus on the reflection of the excited field at a pinhole, on the optimization of the bunch injection time and on the bunch dynamics in the acceleration process. The linac excitation by the THz-pulse and the bunch acceleration in the excited field are investigated using CST and ECHO simulations.
