Accuracy measurements depends on gain and phase differences of the 4 BPM measurement channels. In order to compensate analogic differences, digital corrections are applied in function of the calibration results. One of the main objectives was to automate the different steps of the calibration process in order to reduce the calibration time and avoid cable connections and disconnections. The second objective was to distribute RF reference signals to all BPM electronics cards with the same amplitudes and phases.
