AB  - The envelope instabilities driven by space-charge effects in high intensity hadron beams can cause beam emittance growth, size blow up and potential particle loss inside an accelerator. In this talk, we will discuss about the mechanism of the envelope instabilities, the parameters that result in the envelope instabilities, and potential methods to mitigate these instabilities.
