Operation of the Argonne National Laboratory Elec-tron Beam Ion Source (EBIS) was paused in March 2020 due to COVID restrictions. Source operation resumed in March 2022 with a focus on elongating the extracted beam pulse while maintaining high breeding efficiency. Through modification of the trap emptying waveform, a 10 ms pulse of 133Cs27+ with a single charge state breeding efficiency of 22.2% has been achieved.
