Operation of a reliable superconducting magnet power supply system is a key factor of accelerator’s performance. Over the past 15 of years, the RHIC power supply system has been made many improvements to increase the machine availability and reduce failures. During these past 15 years of operating RHIC a lot of problems have been solved or addressed. In this paper some of the essential upgrades/improvements are discussed.
