Besides the design study for the SPring-8-II, an inherent potential of achieving much higher brilliance than that of the present SPring-8 has been explored for the general evaluation. In this paper, the evaluation of the inherent potential for the SPring-8, not for the SPring-8-II, in terms of increasing the brilliance is discussed.
