AB - Advanced magnetic optic designs are required to meet the heavy demands of future light sources: diffraction limited emittance, femto-second pulses and low energy spread. This paper highlights the magnetic optic that is presently being investigated in the ERL-simulation group at HZB. The injector optic is based on subtle emittance compensation techniques of space charge dominated beams. The high energy arcs are designed to suppress emittance growth due to CSR through horizontal phase advance manipulation, ISR effects by keeping the radiation integrals small and reduce the degradation due to chromatic aberrations. Optimised Start-to-End beam dynamic simulations are presented.
