AB - The HL-LHC performance could considerably benefit from having a 200 MHz RF system. This would allow to inject longer bunches with larger bunch intensity from the SPS and to perform bunch length leveling if required. We also consider the possibility of decreasing the crab cavity frequency to increase both virtual peak luminosity and luminous region. Performance estimates of various configurations are presented in this paper.
