TI - Current Status of PAL-XFEL Facility

AB - PAL-XFEL facility is an 1110 meters long laboratory for generating X-ray free electron laser. The radiation ranges between 0.1 and 10 nm. The facility consisted of three halls, a 780 m S-band linac hall for 10 GeV, a 225 m undulator hall for hard X-ray and a 10⁵ m hard X-ray beam-line hall for user experiments. A soft X-ray undulator and a soft X-ray beam-line hall which have the length of 110 and 100 meters respectively are built in the facility. The building construction was completed in February 17, 2015. The installation of devices had been started accordingly.
