Over the last decade, Cornell has built and tested the high-power, high-brightness photoinjector (consisting of a DC gun, cryomodule, merger, and beam stop), and has separately prototyped a 6 cavity cryomodule for the proposed 5 GeV Cornell ERL. In further preparation for the high energy ERL, Cornell plans to build a 100 mA, 90 MeV recirculation loop using this existing hardware. This talk will present optics and simulations for this design.
