Abstract |
Magnets based on the modern Nb₃Sn conductor are the main candidates for future high-energy hadron colliders. Fermilab as part of the U.S. MDP executes an extensive R&D program on these high-field magnets. This program includes basic conductor and material R&D, quench per-formance studies, and building a meter-long high-field demonstrator. This paper summarizes the current status of the program including its recent results.
