Several subsystems of the machine are carefully designed for proper operation. Material handling system with its motion control and its relationship with a beam scanning system is explained in this paper. Hardware selection and software development together with a networked control system is described. This system is being developed and tested with the object detection system to monitor and control the position and velocity of materials on a conveyor belt.}, }
