V. to centralize the main units: a high current proton cyclotron, a radiopharmaceutical production – GMP unit including quality control, laboratories for PET-radiochemistry, chemical and biochemical laboratories and laboratories for small animal imaging. The cyclotron TR-Flex was put into operation in 2017 and it is equipped with two extraction ports. Both are movable to adjust the proton energy in the range from 15 MeV up to 30 MeV. One extraction port is coupled with a combination magnet and two beam lines. A [123I]I-gas target station is installed at the first beam line and a four-port target selector at beamline two and at the second extraction port. Two [18F]F-water targets, a [18F]F2-gas target, a [11C]CH₄-gas target, a [11C]CO₂-gas target, a 30° and a 90° solid state target are mounted on the target selectors. In our contribution we report our experience of the new cyclotron during the first two operation years. Typical beam parameters and the reliability of the TR-FLEX are presented. Furthermore we describe the new home-built Radionuclide Distribution System.
