Different components are printed and examined for their vacuum suitability. As shown furthermore, conventionally made standard components can be welded vacuum-tightly to 3D-printed parts, which enables cost-effective production of more complex components, such as a vacuum chamber. In addition, functional components can already be realized during the manufacturing process. The integration of a system of flow channels directly into the wall of a vacuum-chamber is just one example. Thus, such a vacuum-chamber can be heated during evacuation and effectively cooled in later operation.
