Sungkyunkwan University is developing AMS that can be used in a smaller space based on cyclotron. Unlike conventional cyclotrons used in PET or proton therapy, cyclotron-based AMS provides high turn number and high resolution. In this study, we proposed a cavity with a frequency of 5.8 MHz and an accelerating voltage of 300 V to accelerate the particles in the cyclotron. The proposed cavity was designed as an electrode and verified by CST Microwave studio.
